I have been driving for many years now but even now the thought of driving anywhere unknown or downtown causes anxiety in me. The anxiety is if I will get appropriate parking. It is not a very reasonable anxiety because the Lord has given us parking whenever we have prayed for it. I want to record the 2 latest instances this has happened.
In both instances, I had to drive my husband to meetings downtown, one in Seattle and the other in San Francisco. We prayed for good parking and as the journey progressed I could feel my anxiety meter rising. In Seattle, as we came to the point where Mathew had to jump out of the car and I was left to park the car, a car pulled out ahead of me, just in front of a coffee shop. In San Francisco also, we found a underground parking just where Mathew had to get off, also near a coffee shop.
So not only did the Lord provide parking in both instances, but He also made sure I had a comfortable place to sit and wait for Mathew.
I am reminded that no detail is too small for our Lord, for He cares for me.
” My God will fully supply whatever you need, in accord with His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. To our God and Father, glory for ever and ever. Amen.” Phil. 4:19-20
