This is a testimony of God’s miraculous healing.
I twisted my left ankle a couple of weeks prior to attending the 3 day Lenten Retreat with Rev. Fr. Augustine Vallooran in March 2015. My ankle had remained swollen for a while and I was unable to tolerate full weight walking on my left foot due to excruciating pain in my ankle. I also had discomfort in my left shoulder and neck, as well as in my lower left back, which resulted from awkwardly trying to regain my balance and avoid a fall during this accidental mishap.
On the first day of the retreat, I noticed improvement from the discomfort in my neck, shoulder, and lower back, particularly during and after the prayer segment of the day. On the 2nd day, after listening to lectures of God’s goodness, singing beautiful praise and worship songs, and again being submersed in healing prayer, the discomfort in these areas had completely gone away. By the end of the third day the pain that I had in my ankle had significantly gotten better and the swelling reduced.
In addition to physical healing, I was refreshed with inner peace from being totally immersed in the Holy Spirit. All together, the prayers, lectures, and praise and worship made it an awesome experience and I was so thankful that I was able to attend such an event. I received great healing during the retreat. It confirmed that when we receive God’s Love and Blessings in deep faith, it is then that we are able to experience His miraculous healing. He is our Glorious God, Healer, Redeemer and Deliverer. What a Mighty God we serve!
